a few hours of your time can really make a difference to our
club and will be rewarding for you. Working on a committee is
an excellent way to network, get to know your colleagues and

ADDY Awards

Dozens of volunteers with diverse expertise and high
enthusiasm are needed in hosting our annual ADDY advertising
competition and producing the dinner and show.

auction benefiting the GFAF Scholarship Fund.
Education & Scholarship

This committee works with area colleges to encourage
participation in the American Advertising Awards student
competition. It also promotes GFAF scholarships, judges high
school art competitions, holds college portfolio reviews and
is working to establish an internship program.

Reach out to the growing number of advertising professionals
in our area by developing strategies to attract new members to
the GFAF. This important committee develops member retention
programs and works with the GFAF administrator to keep club
membership records.
Newsletter

The newsletter committee gathers news and stories, writes,
edits, designs and produces the club's quarterly newsletter.
We are currently in search of writer as well as production and
printing assistance.
Programs

Come add your grey matter to a braintrust that develops
educational programming for club luncheons and puts on their
party hats to plan our Summer Social and Holiday Party.
Public Service

One of the goals of the GFAF is to assist nonprofit
organizations in the promotion of their causes. The club
periodically choses a civic or charitable organization that
meets GFAF criteria and prepares an advertising campaign with
a public service message.

Ad Hoc

The Ad Hoc committee is the "special teams" of GFAF.
The group handles the nominating and balloting for our annual
election, as well as coordinating the selection of our annual
Silver Medal and Crystal Prism service awards.
